Organization of the training workshop
From March 6, 2023 to April 28, 2023 at the Research Institute of Virology in the lecture hall was held a training workshop on training and practical training on early diagnosis of HPV infection among laboratory technicians by liquid cytology method according to the WHO program.
To achieve this goal, a special training program was developed - 72 credits on “Odam papilloma virusi diagnostikasida citologic usul asoslarining jahon tajribasi” and 144 credits on “Tibbiyotda ananaviy va suyuklik cytologic va ahamiyati”.
Training course
Early diagnosis of HCC within the framework of the project “Prevention of virus-induced liver cancer in Uzbekistan”
Institute of Virology in cooperation with Hannover Medical School has planned 4 training courses on early diagnosis of HCC within the project “Prevention of virus-induced liver cancer in Uzbekistan: Tashkent-Hanover Liver Network (PLUTHO)” for ultrasonographers.
The first training course started on May 20, 2024.
The German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) supports the PLUTHO project (Prevention of virus-induced liver cancer in Uzbekistan.
The Hannover Medical School (HMS) enters into a clinical partnership with Uzbekistan and supports a training program on sonographic diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
The goal of the partnership between GMSH and the Institute of Virology is to conduct collaborative research on viral hepatitis and simultaneously improve public health in the partner country.
One of the project directions is to create a structured training program on ultrasound diagnosis of early detection of liver cancer for doctors in the Republic of Uzbekistan. In addition, both partner clinics want to improve early diagnosis of HCC associated with hepatitis viruses.
