In pursuance of the action plan to combat chronic viral hepatitis in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017 and the Set of measures to further improve the methods of diagnosis, prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, including viral hepatitis in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021 (appendices to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 537 of July 24, 2017):

Every year, the Research Institute of Virology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan holds training seminars with chief infectious disease specialists.

In pursuance of the Protocol of the meeting of the Republican Emergency Anti-Epidemic Commission dated January 25, 2017, a working seminar was held on March 2-3 of this year to develop the “Action Plan to Combat Chronic Viral Hepatitis for 2017”.

A master class on the topic was held on September 27, 2017 “Development of clinical protocols in the treatment of infectious diseases. New algorithm for the treatment of hepatitis C and B” with the participation of foreign specialists.

On November 9, 2018, a scientific seminar on “Modern approaches to parenteral nutrition for patients with nutritional deficiency” was organized at the Research Institute of Virology for researchers, clinic doctors, clinical residents and cadets of the department. Lecturer: Vyacheslav Ervandovich Avakov, MD, Professor, Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, TMA, Director of the Emergency Care Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On November 30, 2018, a seminar on the following topics was held at the Research Institute of Virology for doctors and researchers of the institute:

“Liver cirrhosis according to the European Liver Association”. Speaker: D. Inoyatova, MD, – endoscopist.

“Endoscopic methods for preventing portal bleeding”. Speaker: PhD Dzhumaniyazov D., surgeon of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov.

On November 2, 2018, a scientific seminar was organized at the Research Institute of Virology for researchers, clinic doctors, clinical residents and cadets of the department. Lecturer: Doctor of Medical Sciences E. B. Zueva. Topic of the report: “Modern principles of treating liver cirrhosis”.

On December 14, 2018, a seminar-training “Topical issues of hepatology” was held at the Research Institute of Virology by specialists of JSC “ANSCH named after A. N. Syzganov” (Kazakhstan, Almaty) for researchers of the Research Institute of Virology, clinic doctors, clinical residents of the institute, cadets of the department, employees and masters of TMA and TashPMI.

On March 28, 2019, a scientific seminar on the topic "Genetic diversity of HIV-1 in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia" was organized at the Institute of Virology for researchers, clinic doctors, clinical residents and cadets of the department. Lecturer: E. Gashnikova.

On November 21-22, 2019, a master class was organized at the Institute of Virology, jointly with specialist Bibigul Saparbekova Ilyasova, leading researcher of the Department of Hepatology and Transplantology of the National Scientific Center of Surgery named after A.N. Syganov, Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, Alma-Ata

The master class consisted of two parts.

From 9.30 am to 12.00 pm, a joint examination and analysis of patients from the intensive care and liver cirrhosis departments was held. The employees of the institute and clinic, as well as cadets of the infectious diseases department of the Tashkent Institute of Medical Education, participated in the analysis of patients.

The Institute's employees conducted online training for virologists from the regions of the Republic on testing the express kit "WanTai Bio-Pharm SARS-CoV-2 Ab Rapid test (total Ab)" designed to determine total antibodies.

In October 2020, a meeting was held to organize training for 2021 on the operation of a mobile laboratory.

In order to combat COVID-19, protect public health, ensure a stable sanitary and epidemiological situation and exchange international experience, an international online scientific and practical conference "COVID-19. What do we know and how to act? Uzbekistan and international experience" was held on December 17-18, 2020.

The main goal of the conference is to strengthen interaction between the systems of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, exchange of experience, timely detection, treatment and prevention of the spread of the disease among the population.

The international online scientific and practical conference was dedicated to global scientific research on COVID-19, clinical studies of vaccine effectiveness, disease prevention, contact tracing, laboratory diagnostics and quality control, as well as the situation with COVID-19 in Uzbekistan, the development of a domestic test system and achievements in this infection in Uzbekistan, the effectiveness of their practical application.

There were 290 connections. Upon completion of the conference, all participants were provided with certificates (12 hours).

According to PP No. 243 of 05/16/2022, Clause 18, 06/21/2022, the Research Institute of Virology organized a meeting with a foreign specialist and expert in the field of hepatology at Fortis Hospital (India) - Dr. Furquan Ahmad. With the participation of Dr. Furquan, a seminar was held on the topic “Hepatic encephalopathy”

In accordance with the orders of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 4 of 01/08/2022 “On sending leading specialists of republican specialized scientific and practical medical centers to provide practical and methodological assistance to the regions” and the order of the director of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Epidemiology, Microbiology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases No. 39-X dated 30.094.2022, I was on a business trip to Nukus, Republic of Karakalpakstan, from October 18 to 20, 2022.

During the business trip, 3 seminars were held in:

- Republican Children's Infectious Diseases Hospital

- Clinical Multidisciplinary Hospital No. 1, Nukus

- Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan with practical healthcare doctors on topical issues of etiology, epidemiology, clinical picture, diagnostics, etiotropic therapy, prevention, epidemiological surveillance of influenza, other acute respiratory viral infections and COVID-19. A total of 108 medical workers attended the seminars.

The methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Health were developed: "Method of monitoring and developing measures to limit the spread and reduce the level of complications and mortality from COVID-19", No. 8n-r / 1001 dated 01.11.2021; "Epidemiological surveillance and laboratory control of coronavirus infections", No. 8n-r / 211 dated 26.02.2022.

According to the order of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 15, 2022 No. 01-8 / 1, "Practical and educational seminars on especially dangerous infectious diseases" were held in the Bukhara region from 25 to 27.07.2022. The seminar included lectures on cholera, anthrax, brucellosis, Crimean-Congress hemorrhagic fever and rabies. Detailed information was provided on the situation in the world on especially dangerous infectious infections, recommendations were given to increase the vigilance of health workers in this area.

Based on the letter of Instruction No. 24-01203 dated August 13, 2022, the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service and Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 17, 2018 No. 542 "On further improvement of measures for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of viral hepatitis in the Republic of Uzbekistan", a training seminar on parenteral viral hepatitis B, C, D and enteral viral hepatitis A, E was held in the Jizzakh region together with the SESiOZ. Explanations were given on the situation in the world on infections with viral hepatitis, recommendations were given to increase the vigilance of health workers in this area. The seminars were attended by employees of the SESiOZ in the Jizzakh region, family doctors from polyclinics, infectious disease specialists, in addition to them, epidemiologists, TB doctors, etc. Lectures were given at the seminar.

On November 30, 2022, together with the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers, with the Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, a training seminar was held for specialists in the city of Tashkent on the topic "Epidemic situation for COVID-19, influenza and respiratory sycitis infection in the world, Uzbekistan". Venue: 7th city hospital.
