Within the framework of the Conference, it is planned to hold a plenary session on the problem of eliminating viral hepatitis in the world and in Uzbekistan, as well as a training seminar for doctors - hepatologists on the following topics:

• Problems of monitoring and treatment of patients with the final stage of viral hepatitis B, D, C and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
• Hepatitis D: new in the treatment and pathogenesis of the disease

The Republic of Uzbekistan is included in the category of countries endemic for viral hepatitis. Since 2018, the country has been conducting pilot studies to organize screening for hepatitis B and C and provide access to antiviral therapy. Resolution No. 243 "On improving measures to counter the spread of certain current viral infections" signed by the President of the country in 2022 will help achieve WHO goals to eliminate hepatitis C and reduce hepatitis B by 2030. The conference is planned to discuss the latest achievements in the treatment of an extremely important problem for Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries - viral hepatitis D. Issues of monitoring and treatment of patients with the final stage of viral hepatitis B, D, C and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease are also relevant for Uzbekistan. A broad discussion of global experience in eliminating viral hepatitis with international experts will help to unite the efforts of infectious disease doctors, epidemiologists, gastroenterologists, general practitioners and other specialists in solving urgent problems of combating viral hepatitis.

The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition with the participation of leading companies manufacturing medicines, medical and laboratory equipment.
