The Institute's staff completed a training course on organizing and conducting cytological studies of tumor and non-tumor pathology of the cervix at the National Center for Clinical and Morphological Diagnostics (Russia, St. Petersburg) and mastered the method of liquid cytology, which allows for the most accurate assessment of the condition of the cervix and cervical canal. The main goal of the cytological study is to identify background and precancerous conditions of the cervix, which allows for timely treatment and prevents tumor development.
