О проведении конкурса научных статей, представляемых на соискание премии - Стипендия профессора Ходжаева Шабат Ходжаевича

Научно-исследовательским институтом вирусологии Республиканского специализированного научно-практического медицинского центра эпидемиологии, микробиологии, инфекционных и паразитарных заболеваний объявлен конкурс научных работ на соискание премии -  Стипендия профессора Ходжаева Шабат Ходжаевича, в области медицины, по направлениям «Инфекционные болезни» и «Вирусология».

Конкурс научных статей проводится в честь памяти Заслуженного деятеля науки Узбекистана и Каракалпакстана профессора Шабат Ходжаевича, внесшего значительный вклад в развитие инфектологии в Республике.

The scholarship of Professor Khodjaev Shabat Khodjaevich will provide an opportunity for infectious disease specialists and virologists of the Republic of Uzbekistan to present their scientific research. The scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis to specialists of state organizations engaged in scientific activities in the areas of “Infectious diseases” and "Virology".

Scientific articles are accepted in accordance with the specified Regulations and the Procedure for the preparation and submission of documents for the award - Khodjaev Shabat Scholarship Khodjaevich.

Documents are accepted directly from the author.

Works submitted outside the established deadline and (or) designed in violation of the specified requirements will not be accepted for consideration.

Materials submitted to the competition will not be returned to the authors.

Documents are accepted by Dilnoza Ravshanovna, the responsible person, from the date of publication of this announcement on the institute's website www.riv.uz and in the media until April 20, 2024 year.

General Provisions

1.1. This Procedure establishes the rules for submitting works for the “</strong>Professor Khodjaev Shabat Khodjaevich Scholarship” award in the field of medicine, in the direction of “Infectious Diseases” and “Virology”.

1.2. The prize in the amount of 5 million soums is awarded to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan up to 40 years of age, with more than 5 years of scientific or clinical experience in the following areas:

a) implementation of innovative developments in the field of infectology and virology;

b) conducting scientific and practical research, the results of which are reflected in scientific publications and have an effective impact on the development of the healthcare system of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

1.3. Works completed over the past 5 years and published in publications indexed in the Web of Science, Scopus databases are nominated for the competition to confirm the achievements stipulated by paragraph 1.2 of the Procedure.

1.4. Prize winners cannot be nominated for the prize again.

1.5. If the author of the work is a team of authors, the number of applicants for the prize should not exceed 5 people.

1.6. If the author's team performs the work, the consent of the authors to submit the publication for the competition must be attached to the publication.  

1.7 It is not allowed to include in the list of applicants persons: a) who performed administrative and (or) organizational functions during the performance; b) who were awarded other prizes for this work; c) included in the author's team that performed other work nominated for the Prize of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the year for which it is awarded; d) articles not published in publications indexed in the Web of Science, Scopus databases; e) the author's team exceeds 5 people.

Requirements for the design of “Personal information”

Personal information about the author of the nominated work is drawn up on the letterhead of the organization at the place of his main work. The text is printed in Times New Roman, size 12, single-spaced (in tabular form), printed on one side. The author's position is indicated at the main place of work (without part-time work) with an indication of the structural unit (as in the appointment order/staffing schedule). If the author does not have an academic degree or title, "does not have" is noted. If there is an award, the name of the award, the title of the work for which the award was awarded, and the date the award was given are indicated. State awards and titles are not indicated. If the author has no articles, publication activity (according to the Hirsch index) is "0". The questionnaire information is signed by the author, certified by the signature and seal of the HR department.

Requirements for the design of the "Abstract of the work"

The abstract of the work is drawn up on one A4 sheet, double-sided printing (pages are not numbered) and must contain:

1) on one side of the sheet (title page): full name of the organization; title of the work; the direction to which the proposed work belongs (one of the two directions specified in section 1.1 is indicated; the supervisor of the work and the team of authors - last names, first names and patronymics of the authors (without abbreviation), academic degrees and academic titles, positions (with structural divisions) and the name of the organization (at the main place of work).

2) on the other side of the sheet: a brief summary of the content of the work; novelty of the work, distinguishing this work (relevance, efficiency, effectiveness); practical significance; solved problem; scope of implementation - in which organizations it has been implemented and is used. Signed by the author of the work.

The results of the selection will be announced at the scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Professor Shabat Khodjaevich, scheduled for May 3, 2024.
