The purpose of the Congress: To unite the efforts of infectious disease doctors, epidemiologists, virologists and other specialists in solving urgent problems of combating infectious diseases. Exchange of best practices in developing new approaches to treatment and methods of preventing infectious diseases. Expanding international cooperation between scientists.

Requirements for manuscripts of the journal «Infection, Immunity and Pharmacology»

The journal «Infection, Immunity and Pharmacology» publishes articles that reflect the results of previously unpublished and not submitted for publication to other publications, completed original research in scientific areas in the field.

Manuscript design. The submitted manuscript of the article must be designed in strict accordance with the rules set out below. In case of violation of these rules, the articles will be returned without consideration.

The volume of the original article (including the text of the article, abstract, keywords, list of cited literature, tables, figures, information about the authors) should not exceed: - 5-7 pages. Review articles are not accepted.

No more than 5 authors (co-authors) are allowed in an article.

The article must be typed in Microsoft Office Word. Text typing parameters, including tables, figures, diagrams, bibliography, abstract, information about the authors: A4 sheet format, Times New Roman font, 14 font size, 1.5 spacing, no spacing between paragraphs, all margins (top, bottom, left, right) 2.5 cm wide, text alignment by width, indent (paragraph) 1.25 cm,

All pages must have continuous numbering at the bottom of the page, centered.
Figures and tables are located after the text of the article and the bibliography on separate pages. Pages with figures and tables are not numbered.

  • The title of the article is printed in bold, as in a sentence (without underlining or spacing), centered. The title of the article should be short (no more than 8 words), but informative enough and, if possible, reflect the main objective of the work. It is not recommended to start the title with the words “On the issue of …” or “Study of…”.
    • The authors' last name, first name and patronymic are printed in bold (Full name is written), centered.
  • The full name of the institution (institutions) where the author (authors) works, indicating the email address of the institution or author.

If there are several authors, each last name and corresponding institution is assigned a digital index. If all authors work at the same institution – the index is not provided, the institution is indicated once. If the author has several places of work, each is designated by a separate digital index.

Article summary:
The heading “Summary” is not printed.
The abstract should present only the essential facts of the work.

The abstract is presented in two languages with keywords:

- Uzbek and English (the main language of the article is Russian)

- Russian and English (the main language of the article is Uzbek)

- Uzbek and Russian (the main language of the article is English)

A summary with keywords in the corresponding languages is required for all articles (no more than 20 words). The volume of the summary is 200-250 words.

The text of the article should contain: introduction, purpose of the study, material and methods, results, conclusion, list of references. Each section is separated by a paragraph. The section title is printed in bold.

List of References

The section is titled “Literature”.
The author(s) are responsible for the accuracy of the data provided in the bibliography.
The bibliography, which is given in the original language, includes only published materials. Particular attention should be paid to the fact that the bibliography should include only peer-reviewed sources. It is undesirable to include orders, laws, departmental reports, statistical materials, dissertations, author's abstracts, textbooks, and teaching aids in the bibliography. If necessary, information about orders, laws, departmental reports, and statistical materials can be transferred to the text of the article itself. The bibliography should contain publications for the last 10 years.
Links to Internet resources are allowed in limited quantities – no more than 3. Bibliographic records must be compiled in accordance with GOST y
References to literature (for original articles no less than 7 and no more than 15 for review articles are indicated in the order of citation in the manuscript. The text provides a reference to the serial number of the cited work in square brackets [1] or [1, 2]. Each reference in the list of references is given on a new line. A bibliographic record is compiled once, but it can be referenced in the text more than once. A reference to literature must necessarily contain the full names of the authors, the title of the article, and bibliographic imprint data. It is unacceptable to abbreviate the title of the article.

Requirements for figures and tables

Tables. It is recommended not to overload the text of the article with tables (depending on the nature of the study - no more than 3-4 tables). All tables must have a numbered title and clearly marked columns, convenient and understandable for reading, fractional values are given separated by commas, must be processed statistically (for example - 2.145±0.002). Abbreviations of words in tables are not allowed. The data in the tables must correspond to the numbers in the text, but must not duplicate the information presented in it. References to tables in the text are required.

Illustrative material (graphs, diagrams, charts, photographs, screenshots) must not duplicate the content of the tables. The maximum number of illustrations is 4-5. Each figure must be accompanied by a numbered caption. References to figures in the text are required. If there is only one table or figure, then a number is not assigned.
Graphic material (graphs, diagrams, charts), drawn using MS Office tools, should be contrasting and clear. The color of the drawings is black, white, gray, hatching. Figure caption: each drawing should have a general title and explanation of all abbreviations. The graph captions indicate the designations along the abscissa and ordinate axes and units of measurement, and provide explanations for each curve.
Illustrations should be made in a separate file and saved as an image (in *.jpeg, *.bmp format), and then placed in the manuscript file as a fixed drawing. It is unacceptable to apply any elements over the drawing inserted into the manuscript file (arrows, captions) using MSWORD tools due to the high risk of losing them at the editing and layout stages.

Photographs, screenshots (screenshots of monitors) and other non-drawn illustrations are given in black and white. The photographs must have a digital designation of the features depicted. The captions to the microphotographs indicate the magnification and provide the names of the features indicated.

The photographs must not only be inserted into the text of the manuscript, but also uploaded separately as files in the *.jpeg, *.bmp (*.doc and *.docx - if the image contains additional notes). The image resolution must be >300 dpi. The image files must be named according to the figure number in the text. The file description must include a separate caption that must match the name of the photograph placed in the text.
If the manuscript contains figures previously published in other publications (even if their elements are translated from a foreign language into Russian), the author is obliged to provide the editors with permission from the copyright holder to publish this image in another journal (with the correct indication of the relevant journal), otherwise it will be considered plagiarism.

Abstract requirements

The deadline for submitting abstracts is February 20, 2022.

Publication of abstracts is free.

Abstracts must be sent as an attached file, created in the Word text editor (each abstract is sent as a separate file with the last name and initials of the first author) with a note in the Subject section “Abstracts for the Congress, last name, initials of the first author”.

You must indicate a contact phone number and e-mail. After sending the materials, be sure to check for confirmation of receipt of your message.

Articles and Abstracts that, according to the conclusion of the scientific committee, do not represent scientific value, do not correspond to the topic of the Congress or are formatted in violation of the rules, will not be accepted for publication.
