The main cause of cervical cancer (98-99 percent) is the human papillomavirus (OPV), which is considered the only type of cancer that can be avoided.

Cervical cancer is asymptomatic and can only be detected by perforation. If the disease is detected at an early stage, the necessary time for treatment will be sufficient. Morbidity and mortality, in turn, are reduced.

The disease can be defeated only through regular examinations, early diagnosis and treatment.
