Simulation training room
In 2023, with the support of the KOFIH Foundation (South Korea), a training and simulation room equipped according to international requirements was created at the institute, designed to train laboratory doctors, cytologists and gynecologists in the field of cytopathology. The office was equipped with two 5-channel microscopes Nikon C-LP and OLYMPUS BX40F-3, furniture, a computer and a microscope connected to an HDML cable with a smart TV.

The use of the simulation method for cytology is an innovative method of cytological examination, ideal for diagnosing neoplasia of the mucous membrane of the canal and the vaginal part of the cervix; is used when a patient is suspected of having cancer or dysplasia. This method can detect cancer at the earliest stages of development.
On May 15, 2024, with the support of the Hannover Medical School within the framework of the project "Prevention of virus-induced liver cancer in Uzbekistan: Tashkent-Hannover Liver Network (PLUTHO)" for ultrasound diagnostic doctors, the training andsimulation room of the institute was equipped with a Schallware ultrasound modeling simulator.

The PLUTHO project “Prevention of virus-induced liver cancer in Uzbekistan” supported by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The equipment will enable the creation of a structured training program in ultrasound diagnostics of early detection of liver cancer for doctors of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will improve the early diagnosis of HCC associated with hepatitis viruses.
