Information on the Editorial Board Meeting Held on June 9, 2026

The regular meeting of the Editorial Board was held on June 9, 2026. During the meeting, the following scientific manuscripts were reviewed:

  1. Hepatitis B and D Burden in Uzbekistan: Comprehensive Analysis of Seroprevalence and Risk Correlates from a Countrywide Study;
  2. Serum Biomarkers AFP, Midkine, and HBcrAg as Predictors of Tumor Burden and Multifocal Disease in Hepatocellular Carcinoma: A Cross-Sectional Study;
  3. Особенности сезона острых респираторных инфекций 2025–2026 гг. в Узбекистане (Features of the 2025–2026 Acute Respiratory Infection Season in Uzbekistan).

The Editorial Board noted that the submitted manuscripts were prepared in accordance with the international IMRAD standards, demonstrated sound scientific methodology, and presented logically consistent and scientifically substantiated results.

Following the discussion, the Board recommended:

  • submitting the manuscript “Hepatitis B and D Burden in Uzbekistan: Comprehensive Analysis of Seroprevalence and Risk Correlates from a Countrywide Study” to the journal Infectious Diseases of Poverty (Impact Factor: 7.4);
  • submitting the manuscript “Serum Biomarkers AFP, Midkine, and HBcrAg as Predictors of Tumor Burden and Multifocal Disease in Hepatocellular Carcinoma: A Cross-Sectional Study” to the journal Infectious Medicine (Q1);
  • submitting the manuscript “Особенности сезона острых респираторных инфекций 2025–2026 гг. в Узбекистане” (Features of the 2025–2026 Acute Respiratory Infection Season in Uzbekistan) to the Journal of Microbiology, Epidemiology and Immunobiology (Q3).

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Editorial Board unanimously approved the decision to submit the reviewed manuscripts to the editorial offices of the respective scientific journals for publication.
