PARTICIPATION IN IMPLEMENTATION OF SANITARY AND EPIDEMIOLOGY MEASURES IN HOTELS AT THE NEXT SUMMIT OF THE SHANGHAI COOPERATION ORGANIZATION HELD IN SAMARKAND CITY

It is known that on September 15-16 of this year, the 22nd meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was organized at a high level in the old and modern city of Samarkand under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Due to the fact that the leaders of the member states of the SCO Summit held a face-to-face meeting for the first time in the last 3 years during the ongoing pandemic of the COVID-19 coronavirus infection around the world, issues of sanitary and epidemiological safety became important. In this regard, during the Summit, the State Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Stability was established. About 400 experts were involved in the preparation and holding of the summit. About 20,000 PCR tests were conducted by them.

Specialists attended the summit from the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, the Republican Specialized Epidemiology, Microbiology, the Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases and the Research Institute of Virology.
