Using modern laboratory analysis to identify donors among people with a history of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever and use their blood plasma in the treatment of patients with this infection.
A blood plasma bank for patients with Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever has been created
Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 16, 2022 “On improving measures to combat the spread of certain viral infections” No. PP-243, in paragraph 5.4, the Institute of Virology and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Navoi, Bukhara, Kashkadarya, Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions the task in specialized institutions to create a blood plasma bank for those who have recovered from Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (donors)
On the basis of the task, the regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Navoi, Bukhara, Kashkadarya, Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions were identified, in which blood was taken from 31 people who had had Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever and a blood plasma bank of 32 liters and 305 ml of donors.
The created blood plasma provides effective results for therapeutic purposes in the presence of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever among the population in the regions and will create the basis for the prevention of severe complications of this disease.
