According to WHO, every year more than 570 thousand women around the world are diagnosed with cervical cancer and 311 thousand of them die

In our country, this disease takes the next place among women of all ages after breast cancer.
Cervical cancer is the only oncological disease that can be completely prevented, for this, it is important to identify it early, diagnose it.
To this end, the Republican Research Institute of Virology and the KOFIH foundation of South Korea jointly carried out the investment pilot project on detection of the human papillomavirus among women in Tashkent City, Samarkand and Andijan regions and improvement of diagnostics of cervical cancer. This action has been held for 3 years and 50 thousand women will participate in it.
