Cancer is a pressing medical and social problem that has a serious impact on human health around the world today.
According to the World Health Organization, the incidence of such diseases is growing from year to year. The most common of the oncological diseases is breast cancer. The next places are a cancer of the stomach, lungs, and cervix.
Cervical cancer is only cancer that can be prevented. The main cause of the disease (98-99%) is the human papillomavirus (HPV). Precancerous conditions are preceded by cancer. If the disease is detected early, the time required for treatment will be sufficient.
Early diagnosis and treatment of the human papillomavirus have reduced morbidity and mortality from cervical cancer.
For this purpose, in cooperation with the Research Institute of Virology and the KOFIH Foundation of South Korea, screening processes are underway in the following 6 family polyclinics:
All women between the ages of 30 and 49 on the list were tested for (cervical cancer) free of charge. In Tashkent, more than 6,000 women underwent screening.
According to the results of the study, the virus was detected in 11.7% of women, and further testing of these women will begin in January. Appropriate physicians monitor changes identified during the screening process and appropriate recommendations are made.
