Staff of the institute completed a training course on the organization, and conduct of cytological studies of tumor and non-tumor pathology of the cervix at the National Center for Clinical Morphological Diagnostics (Russia, St. Petersburg) and mastered the method of liquid cytology, which allows the most accurate assessment of the state of the cervix and cervical canal. The main goal of cytological examination is to identify background and precancerous conditions of the cervix, which allows for timely treatment and prevents the development of a tumor.
