We invite you to attend the National Congress on Infectious Diseases on March 24-25, 2022

The organizers:

Service of Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The Congress will include plenary and breakout sessions in the areas:

Viral hepatitis

Intestinal infections

Respiratory infections

HIV/AIDS

New and re-emerging viral infections

Parasitic diseases

Laboratory diagnosis of infection and non-infection diseases

 

The Congress aims: To combine the efforts of infectious disease doctors, epidemiologists, virologists, and other specialists to solve urgent problems of combating infectious diseases, increasing international cooperation between scientists. Exchange of best practices in developing new approaches to the treatment and prevention methods of infectious diseases.

 

The format of the Congress (online or in-person participation).

Official languages of the Congress: Uzbek, Russian, English

Registration: Applications for participation in the Congress can be submitted to viruzb@mail.ru until March 1, 2022, in .doc format, prepared by the requirements (Appendix 1).

Articles are only accepted at the Congress direction with a review from an outside organization.

The deadline for article submission is February 20, 2022.

Manuscripts sent to the journal for publication may be submitted in Uzbek, Russian, or English.

 

The requirements for manuscripts of the journal "Infection, Immunity and Pharmacology."

 

The journal "Infection, Immunity, and Pharmacology" is publishing articles reflecting the results of previously unpublished and not sent for publication in other publications, completed original research on scientific areas in the field.

 

Manuscript Formatting. The manuscript should be submitted in the following rules. If these rules are violated, the articles will be returned without consideration.

 

The size of the original article (including the text of the article, abstract, keywords, list of references, tables, figures, information about the authors) should not exceed: - 5-7 pages. The review articles are not accepted.

No more than 5 authors (co-authors) are allowed in the article.

The article should be typed in Microsoft Office Word. Typing parameters, including tables, figures, charts, list of references, summaries, information about the authors: A4 page format, font Times New Roman, 14, spacing 1,5, between paragraphs - without spacing, all fields (top, bottom, left, right) 2,5 cm wide, text alignment to the width, indent (paragraph) 1,25 cm,

All pages should be numbered solidly at the bottom of the page in the center.

Figures and tables are placed after the text of the article and the list of references on separate pages. Pages with figures and tables are not numbered.

 

  • The article's title is printed in bold type, as in a sentence (without underlining and spacing), aligned in the center. The article's title should be brief (no more than 8 words) but sufficiently informative and, if possible, reflect the main objective of the work. It is not recommended to start the title with "To the question of ..." or "The study of ...".
  • The authors' surname, first name, and middle name are printed in bold type (full name is written in total), aligned on the center.
  • Full name of the institution(s) in which the author(s) works, indicating the e-mail address of the institution or author.
  • Each surname and the corresponding institution should have a numerical index if there are several authors. The index is not used if all authors work at the same institution; the institution is indicated only once. If the author has several places of work, each is characterized by a separate numerical index.

Article Summary:

The title of abstract should not be typed. The abstract should state only the essential facts of the paper.

The abstract should be stated in two languages with keywords:

-in Uzbek and English (the main language of the paper is Russian)

-in Uzbek and English (the main language of the article is Russian)

-in Russian and English (the main language of the paper is Uzbek)

-in Uzbek and Russian (the main language of the paper is English)

 

The summary with the keywords in the appropriate languages is obligatory for all articles (no more than 20 words). The volume of the summary is 200-250 words.

The text of the paper should contain introduction, purpose of the study, materials and methods, results, conclusion, list of references.  Each section is highlighted by a sub-paragraph. The title of the section is printed in bold type.

 

List of references

The section is headed "References".

The author(s) are responsible for the accuracy of the data given in the list of references.

In the list of references, which are given in the original language, include only published materials. Particular attention should be paid to the fact that only peer-reviewed sources should be included in the list of references. Orders, laws, department reports, statistical materials, dissertations, abstracts, textbooks, tutorials should not be included in the list of references. If necessary, information on orders, laws, department reports, statistical materials may be placed in the text of the article itself. The references to the bibliography should include publications for the last 10 years.

References to Internet resources are allowed in limited number - not more than 3. Bibliographic records should be compiled in accordance with the State Standards.

References to literature (not less than 7 for original papers and not more than 15 for review papers) should be given in the order of citation in the manuscript. In the text a reference to the serial number of the cited work is given in square brackets [1] or [1, 2]. Each reference in the list of references is given on a new line. A bibliographic record is made once, but it can be referred to more than once in the text. Reference to the bibliography must necessarily contain the name of the authors, the title of the article, bibliographic output data. It is unacceptable to abbreviate the title of the article.

Requirements for Figures and Tables

Tables. It is recommended to avoid overloading the text of the article with tables (based on the nature of the study - no more than 3-4 tables). All tables should have a numbered heading and clearly marked columns, convenient and understandable for reading, fractional values are given through a comma, necessarily processed statistically (for example - 2,145±0,002). Abbreviations of words in tables are not allowed. The data in the tables should correspond to the figures in the text, but should not duplicate the information it provides. References to tables in the text are mandatory.

Illustrative material (graphs, diagrams, schemes, photos, screenshots) should not duplicate the content of the tables. The total maximum number of illustrations is 4-5. Each figure must be accompanied by a numbered caption. References to figures in the text are obligatory. If there is only one table or figure, no number is assigned.

Graphic material (graphs, charts, diagrams) drawn with MS Office tools must be contrasting and clear. The color of drawings is black, white, gray, shading. Figure caption: each figure must have a common title and the transcription of all abbreviations. The captions to the graphs indicate the symbols on the x-axis and y-axis and the units of measurement, the explanations for each curve are given.

Illustrations should be made in a separate file and saved as an image (in *.jpeg, *.bmp format), and then placed in the manuscript file as a fixed figure. It is unacceptable to put any elements (arrows, captions) over the figure inserted in the manuscript file using MSWORD tools due to the great risk of their loss at the stages of editing and layout.

 

Photos, screenshots (screenprints of monitors) and other non-drawn illustrations are provided in black and white. Photos should have a numerical indication of the features depicted in the photo. In the captions to the microphotos, the magnification is indicated and the names of the indicated features are given.

Photos inserted in the text of the manuscript also should be uploaded separately in the form of *.jpeg, *.bmp files (*.doc and *.docx - in case additional marks are put on the image). The resolution of the image must be >300 dpi. Image files should be given a name corresponding to the number of the figure in the text. In the description of the file a caption should be given separately, which should correspond to the name of the picture placed in the text.

If the manuscript contains figures previously published in other journals (even if their elements have been translated from foreign into Russian), the author must provide the permission of the copyright holder to publish this image in another journal (with the correct indication of the corresponding journal), otherwise it will be considered plagiarism.

 

Requirements for abstracts

The deadline for abstract submission is February 20, 2022.

Publication of abstracts is free of charge.

The abstracts should be sent as an attached file made in Word text editor (each abstract should be sent as a separate file with the first author's surname and initials) with a note in the Theme section "Abstracts for the Congress, surname and initials of the first author".

It is necessary to provide a contact phone number and e-mail. After sending materials please be sure to confirm receipt of your message.

 

Rules for the presentation of abstracts:

- Page parameters: A4

- Size: not more than 1 page

- Margins: 2.5 cm each

- Font: Times New Roman

- Font size: 12 points

- Line spacing: single spacing

- The title of the thesis is printed in bold type, as in a sentence (without underlining and spacing), center alignment.

- Surnames, first names and patronymics of the authors are printed in bold type (full name should be typed)

- Full name of the institution(s) affiliated with the author(s), indicating the e-mail address of the institution or the author.

Illustrations, tables and formulas are not accepted.

 

Articles and abstracts, according to the conclusion of the scientific committee, which do not represent scientific value, do not correspond to the topics of the Congress or designed with violations of the rules, will not be accepted for publication.
