Today, cancer is a pressing medical and social problem.
According to the World Health Organization, indications of the incidence of such diseases are increasing year by year. Among oncological diseases the most widespread is breast cancer. It is followed by stomach, lung and cervical cancer.
Cervical cancer is the only type of cancer that is preventable.
The main causes (98-99 percent) are the human papillomavirus (HPV). And precancerous cases are seen before cancer. If the disease is detected at an early stage, the time needed for treatment will be sufficient.
Cases of cervical cancer and death as a result of early diagnosis and treatment of papillomavirus are common.
Screening processes were conducted at the Central Military Clinical Hospital for early diagnosis and prevention of cervical cancer.
