CERVICAL CANCER SCREENINGS ARE CONTINUING

13 Октябрь 2022

Oncological diseases are an urgent medical and social problem that seriously affects human health all over the world today.

According to the World Health Organization, the incidence of such diseases is increasing year by year.

❇️ For example, about 3.5 million cases of primary cancer are diagnosed in the European Union every year.

Breast cancer is the most common oncological disease.

Stomach, lung and cervical cancer are in the next places.

❇️ Cervical cancer is the only cancer that is 100% preventable.

The main cause of the disease (98-99 percent) is the human papilloma virus (HPV).

❇️ Pre-cancerous conditions are observed before cancer. If the disease is detected early, the time required for treatment will be sufficient. As a result of early diagnosis and treatment of human papilloma virus, the incidence and mortality of cervical cancer decreases.
